St. Rose Philippine Medal

In 1818, by age 49, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne established the first Society of the Sacred Heart house in the United States known as the Academy of the Sacred Heart. The school is located in St. Charles, Missouri and educates students from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade.

All medals have been blessed by a St. Louis Archdiocesan priest. 

The St. Rose Philippine Medal is available in sterling silver (92.5% pure silver), vermeil (base sterling silver with a layer of gold over it), and gold (58.3% pure gold). 

The medal measures 0.75" X 1".
